Starting 2026-07-30, GetVideoStudio includes a batch thumbnail extraction workflow that analyzes uploaded video files for scene changes and exports representative thumbnails at each detected cut point. The system uses perceptual difference scoring between adjacent frames to identify meaningful transitions rather than minor motion, reducing noise thumbnails by roughly 70 percent compared to fixed-interval sampling. Each thumbnail is exported as JPEG or PNG with embedded timestamp metadata, and a companion JSON manifest lists every thumbnail filename, its source timestamp in HH:MM:SS.mmm format, and the scene-change confidence score. The workflow supports MP4, MOV, and WebM inputs up to 4 GB per file. Processing time is roughly 5 seconds per minute of source video. Available now for all registered users. Feedback: sapsap@qq.com.
